Demo Terms

SummaCore LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“SummaCore,” “we”), operates a public demonstration of its reservations product. These are the terms for using that demonstration (“you”). They are short on purpose — read them before you click.

By clicking “Open the demo,” you agree to everything below.

Who can use this. You must be at least 18 years old.

What this is. The demo is a shared demonstration workspace inside the SummaBooking application, pre-loaded with sample rooms and bookings that SummaCore created for demonstration purposes. It is not a private trial and not a real account.

Everyone sees what you do here. Anything you type or create in the demo — names, bookings, notes, anything — is visible to every other person trying the demo at the same time, and to SummaCore. Do not enter anything real, personal, or confidential: not your name, not a real company’s information, not anyone’s contact details.

Nothing here is permanent, but nothing here is instantly gone either. The demo is wiped and reloaded with fresh sample data every night. Routine backups taken before a nightly wipe may retain a copy of what you entered for up to about 40 days before they, too, rotate out. Treat anything you enter as something that could be visible for weeks, not seconds.

The demo is walled off from every real customer. The demo runs inside the same application as the real product, but it is isolated from every customer’s workspace by the same technical controls that keep customers’ workspaces separate from each other. From inside the demo, you cannot see or reach any real customer’s data, and no real customer’s data is reachable from the demo.

What you’re giving us permission to do. By entering anything into the demo, you give SummaCore permission to host it, show it to other people using the demo, moderate it, and delete it — at any time, for any reason.

What you agree not to do. Don’t enter anything unlawful, infringing, obscene, harassing, or otherwise offensive. Don’t enter anyone’s real personal information. Don’t try to abuse, probe, scan, or load-test the demo or the systems behind it. Don’t use automated tools against it. The demo is rate-limited, and SummaCore may throttle, block, or end your access at any time, for any reason, without notice, if it believes you’ve violated this paragraph or otherwise misused the demo.

What you don’t get. Using the demo gives you no license or rights to anything beyond looking around and trying it out for evaluation purposes. You get no rights to the software, to any content in the demo, or to use the demo for any commercial, competitive, or production purpose.

No promises. THE DEMO IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. SUMMACORE DOES NOT PROMISE THE DEMO WILL BE AVAILABLE, ACCURATE, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Limit on what you can recover. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUMMACORE’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE DEMO WILL NOT EXCEED $100, AND SUMMACORE IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

Law and venue. These terms are governed by Texas law, and any dispute about the demo will be handled in the state or federal courts sitting in Harris County, Texas.

If part of this doesn’t hold up. If a court decides any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.

These terms can change. SummaCore may update these Demo Terms at any time. The version posted at the demo gate when you click “Open the demo” is the version that applies to you.

Privacy. Using the demo creates no account and no record about you personally, other than a record that you accepted these terms (version and time) and transient technical logs. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information generally.
